Last May, the inauguration ceremony was held for the rehabilitation project of the Ribeira de Alge Water Treatment Plant and Water Intake Facility, attended by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Emídio Sousa, and where the Sotecnisol Engineering and Environment He served as the general contractor and was responsible for all the work.
From construction, electromechanical work, and electrical installations to automation, supplemented by concrete surface restoration, treatment, and waterproofing, Sotecnisol served as the lead contractor for this project, which will serve 11,348 residents and treat 5,972 m³ of water daily, thereby increasing the facility’s resilience, particularly in firefighting.
This project involved an investment of more than 1.6 million euros.
