The Sotecnisol Group, which operates in the construction, environment, energy, water, and agriculture sectors, announces the formation of a new company, the 4Safe. With an initial investment of 100,000 euros in state-of-the-art equipment, specialized training, certifications, and facilities, the new company aims to become a leader in the industry. According to the European Trade Union Confederation, the top three countries in the ranking of nonfatal workplace accidents are France (3,227 accidents per 100,000 inhabitants), Denmark (2,814 accidents), and Portugal (2,368 accidents). With regard to fatal workplace accidents, Portugal ranks 12th, with 1.93 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, and this figure is expected to remain unchanged until 2062, based on the current rate.
4Safe was founded with the mission of countering this reality and creating healthier and more productive work environments. With optimistic forecasts regarding economic growth, the company expects to end the year with revenue exceeding half a million euros. “We strongly believe that a safe work environment is essential to the success of any company, which is why it is necessary to increase investment in this area. Although we are already beginning to see a decline in the number of workplace accidents, Portugal still has a long way to go to meet European standards.
