A Sotecnisol Engenharia & Ambiente The installation of the waterproofing system for the new extension of the Lisbon Metro, between Rato and Santos, is nearing completion.
The waterproofing system, awarded by Zagope – Engineering & Construction, consists of installing 60,000.00 m² of a PVC membrane following the prior installation of a protective geotextile, with the subsequent integration of a compartmentalization system and a preventive injection system—the latter being applied for the first time in Portugal on a project of this nature.
