According to data released by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.obras360.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Obras360<\/a>, an online platform for selling construction materials, demand for these types of products is currently growing at twice the rate of the other categories sold by the company, reflecting a greater emphasis on energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the products that have seen the highest demand are photovoltaic modules, solar-powered domestic hot water heating solutions, and high-performance thermal insulation systems, such as rock wool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These products are now an increasingly common choice for those seeking to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce energy costs. This trend is driven primarily by the professional market. Currently, more than 90% of the platform\u2019s customers are construction professionals\u2014including contractors, installers, and applicators\u2014reflecting the growing integration of sustainability criteria into the sector\u2019s purchasing decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cToday, a focus on sustainability is a reality that cuts across virtually all sectors of activity, and the construction industry is no exception. We have observed a growing demand for solutions that help reduce energy consumption and improve building performance without compromising the quality or durability of materials.\u201d<\/em>, says <strong>Tiago Quintas, Business Unit Director<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.obras360.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OBRAS360<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To meet new market demands, Obras360 has been expanding its product offerings in the areas of residential solar photovoltaics and batteries, regularly increasing the number of products available in these categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is also committed to digitizing the shopping experience. The platform features an intelligent recommendation system for complementary products, which suggests additional solutions based on purchasing patterns and similar needs of other customers.
