Across its 424 hectares of olive groves, part of a 650-hectare estate in the municipalities of Macedo de Cavaleiros and Mirandela, 1,181 tonnes of olives were harvested, an increase of 15 tonnes on the previous year. This harvest yielded 120 tonnes of olive oil classified as Extra Virgin.<\/p>\r\n<p>The growth in the harvest is the result of ongoing investment in process improvement. Over the past year, the company has optimized its production methods and implemented more precise monitoring of its plots. The full-scale production of new olive groves\u2014planted with varieties carefully selected for the local region\u2014was also a decisive factor in increasing output, while ensuring the consistency and high quality of the final product.<\/p>\r\n<p>This performance is particularly remarkable in a year marked by stark climatic contrasts. Production benefited from good rainfall early on, but was later challenged by a period of drought and heat waves.
